Your interpretation of reality is always creating either helpful or harmful chemicals in your body. Without a conscious, compassionate relationship to our bodies, over time the body becomes the battleground for the wars we wage in our mind. The connections between our mind, brain, and body is one that is more physiologically and spiritually profound that we have been taught. Our thoughts create a domino effect prompting changes in our brain’s connectivity, in turn influencing our physiology that results in increased production of stress hormones. This potentially damages our stress response system that can lead to developing physical pathologies. This burdens our state of mind and impacts our long-term quality of life. It is vital to our well-being that we build a compassionate relationship between our bodies and mind.
